Mary Klumpstra, ACS-PM, who is the Javery Pain Institute’s billing administrator, recently wrote up an article regarding the changes to CMS facet joint policies, which were implemented on 04/25/2021. Her article was published in the APCPS Tipsheet and Decisions Health’s newsletter. These documents will be shared with interested parties and other pain specialties. The changes place significant restrictions on facet joint polices and many chronic pain patients will likely struggle with these restrictions.
Mary has worked with Dr. Javery for the past 25 years and has worked at Javery Pain Institute since day one.
